I use AI to structure my notes. My process is a little unconventional: game nights usually end with a 1h-long drive home, during which I use speech-to-text to do a brain dump of my first impressions, while everything is still fresh. I eventually feed that transcript to AI to generate a rough outline, then flesh it out. The experiences, opinions, and voice are entirely my own — I'm putting in the work. Turns of sentences may get changed along the way, but anything that doesn't sound like me gets edited out.
This blog also uses AI-generated illustrations, alongside fair use and public domain images. It's a considered choice for a one-person operation with no illustration budget and limited time.
I understand there's real skepticism around AI use in the Hobby, and I think that skepticism is largely warranted — especially when it comes to AI slop or copyright infringement. If you have any question or concern about my process, please feel free to reach out — I'm genuinely interested to talk it through.
